Playlist: International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day! I've put together a leetle playlist, 'Wimmins', to celebrate. It's showcases some of the new female music voices I'm feeling in 2013, including Iggy Azalea, Deap Vally, Teen, Maria Minerva and Melody's Echo Chamber and some more obv ones like Haim, Solange and Laura Mvula.

OK, so some tracks are not that new (step forward, Sharon Van Etten – I can't help it, I love her songs too much) and some are merely representative of the new (NB: I wanted to include Brooke Candy, but she's not on Spotify, so Grimes's Genesis, the video of which she appeared and wiggled her lady parts in, had to do) but they are still just as ace. I also wanted to include Valentina, whose new track, Wolves, isn't on there. So there, have Gabriel, that big one she did with Joe Goddard, instead. WHEV.
